Indian Air force Group Y- Medical Assistant Airmen -- 02/2026 Exam City Details

The Indian Air Force (IAF), through the Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB), has published the exam city information for the Group Y Medical Assistant Airmen 02/2026 exam scheduled for 25th September 2025. Applicants who completed their registration by the deadline of 31st July 2025 can now view their allotted exam city. To access the details, candidates need to log in to the official portal using their Enrollment Number, Registration Number, or Date of Birth. A direct access link is available below.

  • Online Application Begins: 11th July 2025

  • Deadline to Submit Application: 31st July 2025

  • Last Date for Fee Payment: 31st July 2025

  • Examination Date: 25th September 2025

  • Exam City Details Released On: 15th September 2025

  • Admit Card Available: Two days prior to the exam date

Application Fee

  • For General, OBC, and EWS categories: ₹550/-

  • For SC and ST categories: ₹550/-

The examination fee must be paid using digital payment methods such as Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or other accepted online payment options.

IAF Group Y Medical Assistant Airmen 2025 – Age Criteria

  • For 10+2 (Intermediate) Qualified Candidates:

    • Must be unmarried.

    • Date of birth should fall between 2nd July 2005 and 2nd July 2009.

    • Age must not be over 21 years at the time of enrollment.

    For Candidates Holding a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy:

    • Unmarried Applicants: Birthdate must be between 2nd July 2002 and 2nd July 2007.

    • Married Applicants: Birthdate must fall between 2nd July 2002 and 2nd July 2005.

    • Maximum age at the time of enrollment should not exceed 24 years.

    Note: Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules set under the Air Force Agniveer Intake 02/2026 recruitment guidelines.

Indian Air Force Group Y Medical Assistant Airmen Recruitment 2026: Educational Qualification

For 10+2 (Intermediate) Qualified Candidates:

  • Should have completed 10+2 or an equivalent qualification with subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board.

  • Must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and at least 50% marks in English.
    OR

  • Should have passed a two-year vocational program with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as non-vocational subjects, meeting the same 50% minimum requirement in both aggregate and English.

For Candidates with a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy:

  • Must have cleared 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, scoring a minimum of 50% overall and 50% in English.

  • Additionally, applicants should possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with at least 50% marks.

  • A valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council or the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) is mandatory at the time of enrollment.
 
 

Indian Air Force Group Y Medical Assistant Recruitment 2025 – Physical Standards & Online Application

Physical Fitness Requirements:

  • Running Test:

    • Candidates aged 21 or below: Must complete a 1.6 km run within 7 minutes.

    • Candidates over 21 years with a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy: Must finish the 1.6 km run within 7 minutes 30 seconds.

  • Minimum Height: 152.5 cm

  • Chest Expansion: Chest should be proportionate and well-developed with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.

  • Hearing Ability: Should have normal hearing capacity, i.e., must be able to hear a forced whisper from 6 meters in each ear separately.

  • Body Weight: Should be proportionate to age and height, as per Indian Air Force standards.

  • Dental Health: Should possess healthy gums, a sound set of teeth, and at least 14 dental points.

  • Eyesight Requirements:

    • Uncorrected vision should be 6/36 in each eye, correctable to 6/9.

    • Refractive error should not exceed +3.50D, including astigmatism.
